Appears, it wasn’t only the Tesla Model S that will be getting an exciting new interior. Tesla also added the same interior design, steering wheel and all to the Model X. With the new announcement of a Tesla Model X Plaid offering 1,020 HP (and 2.5-second 0-60 mph time), but upon closer examination of the Model X online configurator shows the brand new interior.
It’s basically a copy of what you will find inside the updated Tesla Model S. There is a 17" central screen, 12.3" digital dash screen and an 8" screen for people in the rear seats. The exciting new “steering wheel” is exactly the same as in the Model S. It features what appears to be touch capacitive turn signal controls as well as two scroll wheels identical to the ones seen in the Model Y or Model 3. We anticipate Cyberpunk will likely be playable on the refreshed Model X, as Elon Musk reported the Model S (with similar equipment) is capable of operating the game.

If you choose the Plaid, you will get “carbon fiber interior decor” trim. And if you decide to get the standard Long Range model, it includes the “wood decor” trim. Three interior color choices are available: black and white, cream or all black.
Just like the Tesla model s, the Model X’s exterior will be getting the some minor refreshes, as well. The front and rear fascias are changed, but you will have to look closely to see much of a difference.
Elon Musk tweeted the other day that sheduled delivery of the Tesla model s Plaid would begin the following month. Anybody looking to buy a Tesla model x with the brand new interior will have to wait until April, although, according to the configurators current estimated delivery. Both the Plaid and Long Range Models have the same time frame of April for initial customer deliveries. And it appears the Performance model is will no longer be.
The Plaid’s price is an whopping $119,990, and the Long Range will set you back $89,990.
